So there's a massive sh*tstorm over on tumblr at the moment regarding a 'deleted' scene from the DH2 film.

...it was explained some time ago that the Malfoys had several different endings filmed for them. The one they chose was them escaping as a family of course. But there were others, which included Lucius Malfoy dying, and this. Draco switching sides at the last minute. In the scene, he throws Harry his wand seconds after he comes back to life in Hagrid's arms. I didn't know about this until someone posted it on tumblr, and a certain fandom went completely and utterly nutters. You know the fandom I mean ;)

Course, it wasn't in the book. But...a whole lot of things weren't in the book, hahaha. SEV, UR DEATH SO GLAM IN THE FILM!!

LOOK A BACKGROUND LOOOOOL. Completely done by hand for a change, then used the oilify tool on GIMP to make it less crappy. I hate backgrounds, but there was so much white space in this it needed one. I also fail at dynamic posing. BUT NEVER MIND.

Setting school on fire ftw....

Everyone is saying this scene should have been in the final cut. As much as my inner Drarry fangirl agrees....I kind of like the ending they gave the Malfoys. Very 'family until the end'.

Odd sort of style, not as close-up as I'm used to so a little sketchy. I like it.

Characters belong to that literary goddess JK Rowling.
Art belongs to meeeee.

I've missed seeing a lot of your artwork the past few months because my inbox is far too cluttered. TwT!!!

I like this version of the ending. It seems 'right' to me. Just as right as if it had been there all along. I think Voldemort needed more of a 'what the hell!?' face in the video clip, though.

I have an immense love for your painting and I don't get to say it often enough. I really like 'your' style of Draco. He's not exact to the films but he's still so perfect for the books. I want to hug him.
